Which Core Fields details can be modified:
The following Core Fields details can be modified in your GST Registration:
- Modifiable business details include the Legal Name and Trade Name of the Business, Address, and Business Constitution.
- You may add or remove directors or partners;
- You can alter the primary business structure;
- You can add additional business locations;
- You can change the type of business activity (not the goods or services) carried out at the principal or additional place of business, such as Bonded Warehouse, EOU/STP/EHTP, Export, Factory/Manufacturing, Import, Supplier of Services, Leasing Business, Office/Sale Office, Recipient of Goods or Services, Retails Business, Warehouse/Dept, Wholesale Business, Works Contract, etc.
- You can modify the Business's mobile number and email address, but not those of the owner/partner/director/authorized signatory.

How to modify fundamental fields on my GST Dashboard:
Login to the GST portal using your credentials, navigate to the services section, select the registration option, and then choose Amendment of Registration Core Fields. Yes. You can apply for a GST Registration in each of the states where your business operates, and you can submit numerous applications for GST Registrations in the same state if your business works in different verticals.
A trader with a total annual turnover of less than Rs 1.5 crore is eligible for the Composition scheme. The present limit for Special Category States is Rs. 75,00,000.
For service providers with an annual turnover of less than Rs. 50 Lakhs, the Composition Scheme is available.
